Glee and the Lac de Sainte-Mande

On Saturday we went for a wander to check out the neighborhood and take some photos. To my delight, we found a park, and in the park, a carousel! Oh sweet glee! It was magical. I jumped with joy. How could this be? In a park? In chilly January? The sun was out true, but there was still a chill in the air. It did have it's own little house.

I was beyond excitement, can you tell? The grinned stayed on my face as I watched the children go around and around. It turned out to be more of a carousel/amusement ride mix. Oh the happy petits enfants! This little guy was my favorite. He looks as though he's cheering someone else on. "You can do it!"

Ok so that's all exciting right? Well, after I'd finally tore myself away, right behind it was another one! What the?!

This one was for the older kids and even had the Brass Ring Game. Oh the glee.
And then another one across the street! Holy Shit! We didn't go that one. I was afraid I might explode.
Instead we continued through the park, where I found these sweethearts.

Don't mind the unfocused shot , I didn't want them to know I had snuck a photo. On we went, following the flow of people and discovered a lake.

Gorgeous. More glee is coming....ponies! More specifically, PONY RIDES! Never did I wish a was a child again more than I did that day. It was glorious.

If you come to Paris, I will take you there. Whether you like it or not.

                                                                Man I love this place.
